Truck

The Seddon Atkinson of UKT Racing, was originally built by Matt Summerfield. The Race Truck was ‘taken back off the edge’ to gain reliability for the 2006 season. At a reliable 800Bhp, we finished every race and accumulated points across the season. Finishing 4th and seeing no less than 7 podium finishes.
2007 started well but we soon hit problems. First with the gearbox, then the engine. Right up to the end of the year we had injector problems. Then finally at Brands Hatch we ended with the ‘spin of the year!’

2008 started back on form coming second in the snow. This was after major repairs over the winter. The rear of the truck needed extensive straightening and various parts replacing right down to the prop shaft. The timing was also altered for a final time over the winter.
